Gas Engineers

Salary – £35,000 – £39,690 per annum

Applications are invited from experienced time served Gas Engineers with the relevant gas qualifications to operate across the Glasgow and Dumfries & Galloway areas delivering a breakdown/reactive repairs/servicing and installation works.

We operate various working patterns including 37 hours Monday to Friday and a 4 on 4 off basis (4×12 hours) within the Gas team which significantly improves our timescales and ensures the needs of our customers is always the focus of our service provision. You will be required to use our mobile handheld technology systems.

You must be fully conversant with up to date issues relating to gas. Possession of a full driving licence is essential as is a flexible approach to ensure a high-quality service.

The hours of work for the Monday to Friday posts will be 8.00am-4.30pm (Mon-Thur) and 8.00am-3.30pm (Fri).

The hours of work for the 4 on 4 off positions in the main will likely be 8.00am – 8.00pm or 10.00 am – 10.00 pm during the summer months changing to 12 noon – 12 midnight in the winter months. Management would advise any variance to these hours in advance.

Salary is dependent on the working pattern.
