Achievement and Performance Officer

Salary – SCP36 (£37,120)

The Achievement and Performance Officer is a key post within the Training Centre in relation to apprentice training. The role will be to provide effective training to all apprentices throughout the duration of their apprenticeship.

You will have specific responsibility for devising training plans and ensure that all apprentices are achieving in accordance with the training plans. This will also include apprentices from other organisations.

You will be involved in funding issues for the MA programme and be required to liaise with external organisations such as Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and other training providers.

Whilst you will have responsibility for the apprenticeship training within the Training Centre you will be expected to contribute across all spheres of the business as appropriate. You will provide reports to the Training Manager as necessary on achievements, performance and standards related to key objectives. A further key requirement of the post is compliance with all relevant policies and procedures and monitoring arrangements in support of these.

You will have a Technical/ Construction background and/ or have a proven track record in the training field. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be knowledgeable and credible in the relevant areas and will always represent the interests of the Business. You will be fully conversant with up-to-date techniques and thinking within training and bring an innovative approach to the role. You will be required to have a flexible approach to this role and in your contribution to the success of the business.

You should preferably have a current driving license and be willing to work flexible hours.
