About the Role

The Tiler is a key member of the Operations Division, working within the Investment section to deliver high-quality services across the social housing sector.

This role involves carrying out wall and floor tiling in kitchens and bathrooms within both occupied and void properties as part of refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, accurately measuring and cutting tiles, and installing a range of materials to a high standard. The Tiler applies adhesives, grout, trims, and sealants in line with industry standards, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with attention to quality.

Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and complying with health and safety regulations are essential, along with inspecting and rectifying any defects.

This role requires respect for tenants’ homes, minimising disruption, and delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Flexibility is also required to support different areas of the Investment service as needed.

What You Will Bring

You will be an experienced, fully qualified Tiler with a strong customer focused approach and the ability to deliver high quality work within agreed timescales.

You should have substantial experience working within a customer focused environment and demonstrate a flexible approach to ensure a consistently high standard of service is provided.

You will be proactive with the ability to provide Customer Service Excellence. You will be expected to project a professional and high quality image of the service at all times and conduct yourself in a courteous and respectful manner when representing the organisation.

You will ensure all tasks are completed safely and in full compliance with building regulations and health and safety legislation.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
