About the Role
A Driver plays a key role in supporting the RSBi Stores and Kitchen Admin Team by delivering high-quality products to our customers on a daily basis. The role involves loading and unloading of vehicles, delivery to customers, while collaborating closely with other departments within the RSBi team to ensure smooth coordination with production, delivery, and installation departments.
As a Driver you will be manage multiple deliveries daily and will ensure they are completed within established timescales while delivering excellent customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring all required delivery paperwork and PODs are accurately completed and returned to stores. You will also ensure that any issues that may arise are recorded and communicated to management at the first opportunity.
You will demonstrate a proactive approach to Health and Safety in your duties by organising your load safety before leaving premises and carrying out daily vehicle checks. You will ensure compliance with all DVLA and City Building polices.
What You Will Bring
You will be an experienced 7.5T or HGV driver with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a busy team to support safe, efficient, and well-coordinated delivery operations.
Strong time management skills are essential for this role as you will have to be reliable and punctual to meet customer delivery expectations. You will engage professionally with customers during deliveries to drive excellent customer satisfaction.
You will have good knowledge of driving regulations and understand safe loading and handling practices.
You must possess a full clean UK driving licence and a Category C1 licence for driving 7.5T vehicles.
