Our Apprenticeship Programme

City Building is proud to operate one of the largest apprenticeship programmes in Scotland, with more than 200 apprentices currently training across the business.

Our four-year programme provides a unique opportunity to experience a variety of trades, enabling apprentices to explore their strengths before choosing a specialism.

Each year we welcome around 60 new apprentices, aged 16–25, with applications opening in March.

Alongside hands-on training, apprentices gain valuable insights into the industry and contribute to meaningful projects.

To learn more, apply for upcoming roles, or hear directly from our apprentices, please visit our dedicated Careers and Apprenticeship page.

Our Apprentices in the Community

Our apprentices have transformed the interiors of FAREPlay Stepford, home of Easterhouse Football Academy, as part of our community benefits programme. Painter and decorator apprentices refreshed changing rooms, bathrooms, corridors and communal areas, creating a welcoming space for more than 400 young players. Supported by our supplier GAP, this project highlights our commitment to social value while giving apprentices valuable, hands-on experience. As Scotland’s largest construction services business, with the country’s biggest apprenticeship programme, we are proud to deliver initiatives that not only improve local facilities but also help us address the construction skills gap and invest in future talent.
