Mechanical Estimator Plumbing Heating and Ventilation (Fixed Term)

Salary: Circa £40,000 p.a. (depending on experience)

We currently have a vacancy for a Mechanical Estimator and would welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals.

You will have specific responsibility for providing technical expertise in relation to estimating costs, incentive/ productivity schemes, cost control, issue and evaluation of tenders for sub-contractors and suppliers. You will also be required to prepare and provide associated detailed management information. You will require to liaise closely with the business unit managers to measure the accuracy and effectiveness of the estimates, incentive schemes and cost plans and evaluate the outcomes to safeguard the interests of City Building at all times.

You will have mechanical experience, in both domestic and commercial installations, and possess a broad knowledge of all aspects of estimating and project management. You will be fully conversant with up to date legislative developments within contracts and will bring an innovative approach to new developments. You will be knowledgeable and credible in the relevant areas and will represent the interests ofCityBuildingat all times.

You will be required to demonstrate a proven track record for meeting deadlines and leadership qualities. You will be required to have a flexible approach to this role and in your contribution to the success of the business.

A driving licence is essential for this post.
