Salary – £25,140 – £28,607
As one of a small team of Training Officers based within our Training Division you will be responsible for assessing training needs and delivering training to City Building employees in support of their operational roles.
This role has a very demanding schedule which requires the Training Officer to complete training needs analysis for departments and individuals, programme their own workload, design and deliver training to suit operational requirements and provide a supporting role to managers.
You will be required to organise training in the centre or onsite as required to a variety of internal and external clients and should be able to tailor your delivery to the group. Courses delivered should be evaluated in terms of delegates’ appreciation and understanding of the course to ensure they are fit for purpose for the workplace environment. You must ensure that facilities and equipment are suitable for course delivery. Training Officers will be expected to assist in course development and the updating of existing courses to meet changes in legislation, etc.
You will provide reports to the Training Coordinator for the training courses as necessary on development outcomes, costs and performance and standards related to key objectives.
You will have a technical/construction background and/or have a proven track record in the training field. You will have excellent inter personal, presentation, IT and communication skills and will be knowledgeable and credible in the relevant areas and will represent the interests of the LLP at all times. You will be fully conversant with up to date techniques and thinking within training and bring an innovative approach to the role. You will be required to have a flexible approach to this role and in your contribution to the success of the business.
You must possess a full current driving licence.
There is a competency based framework within this role and salary placing will be determined by this.
This post is temporary initially for 6 months with a view to becoming a permanent arrangement.
