Compliance Administrator (Asbestos)

Due to the expansion of our Asbestos Section we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Administrator to provide support to the Technical and Asst Technical Managers and Surveyors.

Salary – £23,309 – £25,542

You will have specific responsibility for the administration of the team including answering telephone calls, booking in surveyor requests, processing sample results and compiling asbestos survey reports.  This will involve using CAD or Visio drawing software and processing large amounts of sample/ survey data.

You will ensure that all works are done in compliance with HSE Guidance Asbestos: The Survey Guide – HSG264.

You must have a strong technical background with significant demonstrable experience working within this role within the asbestos industry and be aware of the requirements and obligations of ISO 17020 and the UKAS accreditation process.

You will be an experienced administrator within the Asbestos sector, be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have a good telephone manner. You will be highly focused with a strong attention to detail.  You will have excellent IT skills especially MS Word and Excel and experience with CAD or Visio or other drawing software.  Experience with Asbestos Survey software is desirable.

You will be keen and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to work and must have good organisational skills.
